By The Book

Training by the book involves following a structured program that outlines specific exercises, sets, reps, and rest periods. This can provide a solid framework for progress and help prevent injury.

Fitness Is Work

Fitness requires consistent effort and dedication, much like any form of work. It involves setting goals, developing routines, and pushing through challenges to see progress. But it can also be enjoyable and rewarding when you find activities you love. What aspects of fitness are you focusing on?

Lift And Repeat

Doing reps in workouts is a key component of strength training and overall fitness.

I always prioritize proper form over the number of reps or the weight you're lifting.  Focus on slow and controlled movements. Don’t rush through your reps; both the lifting (concentric) and lowering (eccentric) phases are important.

Body Over Matter

Pay attention to how your body feels. If you’re fatigued or experiencing pain, it may be a sign to adjust your routine or rest.
